Have nothing but great things to say about everyone at VKB homes. Katie was knowledgeable and helped us figure out what we could do within our budget. Misty helped with design choices and always seemed to read my... mind and expand my vision. She is very talented in design. Cannot say enough good things about them both. All the professionals working on our house were very professional and prompt, if ever there was a schedule change Sarah let us know in advance and sent us out a weekly itinerary. They all did topnotch work and we were extremely happy with the final results!!!!read more

We hired VKB Homes to do a kitchen remodel for us. Our experience couldn't have been better - they started the job when it was scheduled, and they finished on time. Everything about the project was laid out well, so... we knew exactly what to expect, and when to expect it. They left the work area as clean as it possibly could be during the project, so that we were able to still "live" in the house. The entire crew working on the project (VKB employees and contractors) were awesome - very friendly and super flexible. They answered all of our questions along the way, and were just overall awesome. We LOVE how our home looks after this project and I would recommend them to anyone!read more

VKB Homes finished our basement over the past several months and we are completely pleased with the experience and the results. Rich and Misty went above and beyond to answer our questions and quickly address any... issues that arose. Their employees and subcontractors were polite, helpful, and respectful of our home while working. The craftsmanship and care they put into the project was second to none. As with any construction project, there are always unforeseen circumstances that come up, but they were handled professionally, quickly, and with little to no impact to the budget.Great job Rich and Misty and the entire team, we would highly recommend VKB to anyone considering a home improvement project.read more

One of the reason we went with VKB was their great reviews. So I feel that I have to send my review. The finished project was great the process of getting there was a Nightmare. Trying to get the right design we wanted... took forever. Ordered wrong size windows. Ordered tile was told at last minute they could not get. Plastering guys scratched our refrigerator and always left such a mess.. A lot of times we were told someone would be there on a certain day and no one would show. This is to name a few a the bad things, as I said the finished project was great and they always went out of their way to make right. So if you have a lot of patience they'll do a great job in the end.read more

VKB Homes remodeled our Lake House on Poygan. From start to finish, they were honest, good at communication and helpful so we could understand the entire process. We did not know what to expect, but I would call them... again without hesitation. They kept their promises on time and quality. This company is TOP notch. I would highly recommend them. Rich, Misty and their entire crew are dedicated professionals in both design and construction. You won’t be disappointed!!read more

Working with VKB was a great experience from the start to the finish. 1st with Katie and her construction experience turning our vision of a new kitchen into a plan. Then with Misty, using her design talents to help us... navigate through all the design choices. Then with Adam, his team, and all the subcontractors bringing the plan to life in a very friendly and professional manner. The result was a very beautiful, very functional, new kitchen.read more

The personnel with VKB could not have been nicer to work with. the outcome of our remodeled bathroom is stupendous - really more than I could have hoped for. I highly recommend them and would be proud to show off... their work. One weakness was their communication: dates and times of the workers were often unclear. other than that ..do go with them!read more

VKB Homes We were so happy to work with VKB Homes for our kitchen and flooring remodel. From the initial quote to the final walk through they were responsive and easy to work with. They even completed the project... sooner than the original estimated timeline after having to start 2 days late due to a snowstorm delay. The kitchen remodel included a new kitchen island, granite, backsplash, lighting, drywall updates and 900 sq ft of flooring. Working with Misty on the redesign was fun and she had great recommendations to ensure the new materials fit well with the cabinets we were keeping along with the rest of our home. Having the design support really made the remodel easier and gave me peace of mind that it would coordinate well. The team of workmen were clean, professional, courteous and dedicated to ensuring we were happy with their work. Their granite, flooring & electrical sub-contractors were skilled and helpful. I recommend VKB Homes and would use them again on future projects.read more

We can’t say enough good things about our experience working with VKB. My wife and I wanted to do a complete remodel on the first floor of our home which included knocking out walls, new flooring, whole new kitchen, and... new bathroom. Katie was excellent to work with from the start during the process of getting an estimate. They understood what we wanted for a budget and are great at working within that budget to get you the best look possible. Rich and Misty were awesome to work with during the design and construction phase. Misty knew exactly what we were looking for in the interior design with the cabinets, island, lights, beam, flooring and made it all happen. Rich was great with talking me through the entire process so I was always aware of what the next phase of the project would be. Adam and his crew are extremely professional and were excellent with completing the work on time and not leaving any mess behind at the end of each day. Back at the office, Sara would send us an update at the end of each week so we know who/what was going on for the following week. What could have been an extremely stressful process turned out to be the complete opposite thanks to this team. Everyone at VKB takes great pride in their work, and it shows through the quality of the craftsmanship in our home. We couldn’t be happier. Misty came by after the house was complete and did a final walkthrough to make sure that all the final touches were done correctly. We couldn’t have asked for a better company to work with, and look forward to using VKB again on our next home project!read more

Rich and his crew did an amazing job with a landscaping project, sidewalks, patio and edging. Rich did an amazing job, communicated well and paid attention to all of the details. I highly recommend VKB Homes.

Got an estimate from one of their employees, Chris. Was punctual, pleasant and discussed with us options. Due to holiday and schedules he is returning with the estimate to go over. So far service has been professional,... helpful, and non stop invasive. As first time home owner was worried about 'being pushed' Chris was anything but. Recommend them.read more
